I started Business Introductions 11 years ago.

I was a serial networker in the Manchester area. I saw a gap in the market for a more personalised kind of business networking – like a dating service but for businesses to meet and get to know one another.

My background’s in events, marketing and business development. I know the value of making new contacts and how this helps businesses grow.

People really do buy from people. But they're only ready to buy once they trust them. Relationship-building is the key. There's still no better substitute for doing this than face-to-face.

Invite some like-minded people in a room together and things begin to happen.

And it’s not simply about who you meet on the day, but also the people they know who, one day, will be looking for someone just like you.

Networking’s a tried and tested way of growing your business. It works, believe me.

Business Introductions is about networking done naturally – there's no pressure to make referrals or pitches. It's all about getting to know people, connecting meaningfully and raising awareness of who you are and what you can offer.
